Abstract

The following paper presents five new Roman inscriptions discovered in situ in one of the enclosures in which the occidental porticus of the forum of the Roman city of Los Banales (Uncastillo, Zaragoza) - conventus Caesaraugustanus of Hispania Citerior - was opened probably for cultural an self-representation purposes. The monument, of a dynastic and familiar character, was promoted by M. Fabius Nouus and Porcia Faventina and was articulated surrounding a main dedication to the Victoria Aug(usta) and a series of crossed tributes to members of both families, with names that remain unattested in the local prosopography of the aforementioned community whose ancient name is unknown to this day.
