Abstract

Fibrosarcoma of finger is a very rare entity. We report a new case in a 25-year-old man admitted for an ulcerative and papillary large mass tumor, pinkish purplish color, developed in the left middle finger. Histological diagnosis was established before and after curative surgical treatment. Proximal amputation of the left third finger was performed with metacarpal extirpation and osteotomy in the capitatum according Peze and Iselin procedure. Two years later, functional results were satisfactory without local recurrence or metastasis.
