Abstract
We publish a hitherto unpublished fragment of the reform carried out in 1506 by the lawyer Ortíz de Zárate of the divisions of the recently conquered island of Tenerife. Using this we make a preliminary approach to the problem of the data for which there is no record in the books of those divisions which are kept in the archive of the Council (Concejo).
