Abstract

In 1992, excavations in the town centre of Noyon (Oise) uncovered a ceramist’s workshop, giving evidence of the activity of potters in an urban area during the second half of the 12th century. The items discovered attest the production of highly decorated ceramics. This paper presents both a typological and a morphological classification.
