AbstractCommercial Banking (MIC: 8.1 SIC: 6021 NAIC:522110)UMB Financial is a financial holding company. Co. owns all of the outstanding stock of five commercial banks, a brokerage company, a community development corporation, a consulting company, a mutual fund servicing company and 16 other subsidiaries. Co.'s five commercial banks are engaged in general commercial banking business entirely in domestic markets. Two of the banks are in Missouri, one bank in Kansas, one bank in Colorado, and one bank in Arizona. Co.'s banks provide a range of banking services to commercial, retail, government and correspondent bank customers. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. has total assets ofS8.92 billion and total deposits of $6.31 billion.
