Abstract

The research deals with a study of the morphofunctional condition of the renal blood capillaries at early stages following total thyreoidectomy. Moderate changes of the ultrastructure of the glomerular blood capillaries may be regarded to be compensatory. A sufficient range of structural changes is identified in the peritubular capillaries – from compensatory ones to apoptotic phenomena that leads to a partial destruction of the vascular wall.
