Abstract
Microphase-separated polyethylene oxide (PEO) cylindrical domains of liquid crystalline block copolymer have been utilized as electrolytic nanoreactors without any specific treatment such as etching. PEO works as electrolytic medium for the electrolytic deposition of a cerium oxyhydroxide nanorod array with ultrahigh density (up to 7.0 × 1011 cm−2).
