Abstract

AbstractA new quadrature power splitter with a bandwidth of 110% from 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz consisting of a wideband power divider and a phase shifting network is presented. The quadrature phase difference between the output ports is achieved through the phase difference between a 50 Ohm transmission line and multiple cascaded phase shifting sections. A return loss larger than 13.8 dB, an amplitude imbalance less than 0.5 dB and a phase difference within 90.9° ± 6.0° are measured over the whole ultra‐wideband. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
