Abstract
Abstract ULTEM 4000 is a reinforced polyetherimide resin with an internal lubricant. It is wear resistant and has a reduced coefficient of friction. See also ULTEM 4001 for unreinforced resin properties (Filing code P-33, 3/92). This datasheet provides information on physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness.
