Abstract
This paper deals with a short review on the studies of geomagnetic ultra-low-frequency(ULF) waves. It includes (1) A historical note and some main topics, (2) On classification of geomagnetic pulsations, (3) Recent multidevelopments on instruments, surface and space observations, and methods of analysis, and (4) ULF waves in planetary magnetospheres.
