Abstract
The article examines three educational aids designed for high school students. The following topics were selected for discussion: summaries of romantic readings by Adam Mickiewicz, educational films by Mieczysław Mietczyński known as Profesor Niczego and psychological guides by Przemysław Staroń. The aids are aimed to present the content of the literary works and, assess their teaching potential. It is shown how students are perceived by the authors of the creative works and what attitude young learners have towards these aids. Finally, the tasks of a contemporary Polish teacher are outlined.
