Abstract

Atmospheric disturbances consist of a serious danger to the UAV when landing on an aircraft carrier. The problem of atmospheric disturbances suppression is considered. Two sources of disturbances take into account: wind and aircraft carrier pitching. The corresponding disturbance models are constructed. An algorithm for controlling the attitude and speed of the UAV by using the method of active disturbance suppression (ADRC) is proposed. Flight simulation in the Simulink environment is carried out. The simulation results confirmed the efficiency, accuracy and practicality of the proposed algorithm. Keywords landing on an aircraft carrier, UAV, atmospheric disturbances, ship pitching, ADRC, control with active disturbance suppression
