Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of Ukrainian political discourse in the linguistic and pragmatic aspect. The concept of communicative strategy as one of the main parameters of spontaneous speech interaction is outlined and features of communicative conflict are revealed during communication of politicians in television talk shows. The study of political communication primarily involves the separation of communicative strategies and tactics used in political discourse. Such an approach makes it possible to study the specifics of the speech behavior of politicians who use different mechanisms of influence on the interlocutors and the audience as a whole. Of particular importance is the linguistic-pragmatic approach in the context of spontaneous political communication, where the choice of communicative strategies and communication tactics determines the vector of the deployment of speech interaction and its cooperative or conflict type, due to the specific communicative roles of participants in political discourse. The purpose of the article is to develop a typology of conflict strategies presented in the Ukrainian political discourse in the interactive communication of politicians. Object of research – interactive communication of politicians in a situation of television talk show; subject – language means for the implementation of conflict strategies in political interactivity. The main conflict strategists are considered in interactive political communication and the classification of conflict strategies is proposed. The materials for the analysis were texts of speeches of Ukrainian politicians in well-known television talk shows. Conflict interactive interaction is represented by three main strategies - discredit, manipulation and protection. In the strategy of discrediting speeches, he does not represent his own political views and does not argue his political position, and negatively assesses the views of his political opponent, using criticism, humiliation, insults. The manipulative strategy is directed at an irrational impulse: the spokesman not only influences the opponent and the audience, but avoids direct answers, confuses the interlocutor, creates the effect of "parallel" communication. The protective strategy is related to the communicative behavior of the addressee of the political conflict, which has a weaker position, less convincing for the audience, but defends its beliefs, opposed to the speaker’s position. Under such conditions, the addressee reacts to the aggressive speech behavior of the speaker, but does not agree with him, does not seek to understand, but vice versa – fueled conflict and stands in the position of a political opponent. Prospects for further research are the development of the theory of communicative strategies in other forms of Ukrainian political discourse.
