Abstract
Spectra, angular distribution and polarization of the two photon annihilation radiation in a strong magnetic field B are studied in detail for sufficiently slow electrons and positrons (annihilation at rest) and for a one-dimensional thermal e ± plasma with not too strong magnetic field (B/B cr⪡min (1, T/mc 2), see text). Many simple analytical expressions for the limiting cases are obtained and numerical calculations of the energy-integrated polarization degree are presented.
