Abstract
Two Ni-based complexes: [Ni(sao)2(py)2]·H2O (1) (saoH2 = salicylaldoxime) and [Ni(3-omesao)(OAc)(py)3][Ni(3-omesao)(OAc)(py)3]·H2O (2) (3-omesao = o-vanillinoxime) were synthesized via the reactions of Ni(OAc)2·4H2O with two different oximes and were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analyses. In the structure of complex 1, adjacent molecules are assembled 2D supramolecular frameworks parallel bc plane via the C–H···π interactions, which are future linked into a 3D network configuration by C–H···π interactions. In the complex 2, it is also linked to form 3D structure by C-H···O and C-H···π weak interactions.. Both complex 1 and 2 exhibit a dominant antiferromagnetic. Furthermore, luminescence tests suggest that both complex 1 and 2 are blue fluorescent, display excellent sensitivity and selectivity to detect Fe3+, CrO42−/Cr2O72−.
