Abstract
Abstract Two new species of Pontella from Indonesian waters are herein described. Pontella nishidai n. sp. is distinguishable in the female by the posterior corners of its Pdg5 being pointed, the left side of Ur1 with a dorsolateral semi-circular process, and the form of the P5; in the male by the Ur1 naked, the bifurcated thumb of the chela and the very slender shape of the finger of the right P5. Pontella gilimanukensis n. sp. is distinguishable in the female by having a large beak-like process of Ur1, and the asymmetrical CR; in the male by the short posterior corners of Pdg5 and the form of the P5.
