Abstract

Two new species of eriophyoid mites from China, are described and illustrated, namely: Shevtchenkella radermachera sp. nov. on Radermachera sinica (Hance) Hemsl. (Bignoniaceae); Tetra clerodendrum sp. nov. on Clerodendrum fortunatum L. (Lamiaceae). We provided two new combinations—Aculops puerariae (Qin, Wang & Wei, 2008) comb. nov. and Kyllocarus microcarpae (Wang, Wei & Yang, 2009) comb. nov. All new eriophyoid mite species are vagrants, causing no apparent symptom to their host plants.
