Abstract

A new species of the heteromyid rodent, Prodipodomys , from Elmore County, Idaho; and a new species of the cricetine rodent, Peromyscus , from Twin Falls County, Idaho, are described. Both specimens were taken from the Hagerman formation, which outcrops along the valley walls of the Snake River.
