Abstract
The 1H and 13C NMR spectral assignments of polypropylene tacticity are revised using two-dimensional NMR techniques. The 13C-1H hetero-nuclear shift correlation (CSCM) permits all tactic sequences to be assigned on 1H NMR. The 1H NMR J-coupling connectivities are confirmed with 1H shift-correlated (COSY) experiments. These techniques enable correct assignments to be made of previously uncertain tactic sequences in the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of stereoirregular polypropylene.
