Abstract
AbstractSearching a low‐cost and excellent performance catalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is important for enhancing the efficiency of water splitting. In this manuscript, we report the Co, S co‐doped carbon‐framework supported MoO2 nanosheets (Co, S/MoO2−C) for HER. The carbon‐framework improves the distribution of the MoO2, which causes a large number of exposed active sites. The synergistic effect of Co and S enhances the electron transport of the MoO2. As a result, the Co, S/MoO2−C exhibits a low overpotential (62 mV vs. RHE) and enhanced stability in 1 M KOH for HER. Our work puts forward a novel method to improve the catalytic performance of MoO2 and provides a new option to prepare excellent catalysts.
