Abstract

In this paper a research about the heat-transmission of one-and double-layer building structures is summarized. The MAPLE computer algebra program is applied to solve the system of equations describing the one and two dimensional mathematical models of the heat transfer and visualize the results. In the research the external and internal heat transfer coefficients affected by the heat exchange in internal and external space is determined. The two dimensional mathematical model takes into account the effect of the solar radiation to the external wall face as well. This radiation phenomenon plays significant role in decreasing the heat loss of buildings. The measured and calculated results correlated well to each other.
