Abstract
The reaction of three position isomer ligands 1,2-, 1,3-, 1,4-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene, and Mn(NCS)2 gives three coordination polymers [Mn(obtz)2(NCS)2]n (1), [Mn(mbtz)2(NCS)2]n (2) and {[Mn(bbtz)2(NCS)2]·2DMF}n (3). 1 and 2 comprise similar one-dimensional double chains. In 1, each chain forms π-π stacking interactions with four adjacent chains (two above and two below chains) to extend a three-dimensional supramolecular network. 3 is a neutral two-dimensional (4,4) network. The two-dimensional (4,4) networks parallel stack along the a-axis and forms one-dimensional channels that encapsulate the lattice DMF molecules. The luminescence and thermal stability of 1, 2, and 3 were measured. Supplemental materials are available for this article.
