Abstract
FreeText:The tubular function study included 24-hour urinary excretion of sodium, potassium, chloride, phosphorus, uric acid, magnesium, urinary pH in the first micturition in the morning, and urinary culture. Also, the presence of proteinuria, glycosuria, and aminoaciduria were measured. Urinary tubular enzymes, N-acetyl-beta-dextroglucosaminidase (NAG) and alanine aminopeptidase (AAP) were also measured. Fractional excretion of sodium, chloride and magnesium, transtubular potassium gradient (TTKG), and phosphate tubular reabsorption were calculated. Blood determinations of serum creatinine, measured creatinine clearance, plasma renin activity (PRA), aldosterone, sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, uric acid, phosphorus, and magnesium were measured. Concomitant drug: okt3 (n=1).
