Abstract

When the political life of Turkey is examined, many duties and powerful powers have been given to the executive body in constitutions and other legislation in order to prevent the negative reflections of instabilities and coalition governments. Based on these powers given to the executive body, instabilities have been tried to be eliminated. However, it has been also the focus of negative criticism. Therefore, in the study, firstly, the tendency to strengthen the executive with the constitutional amendments made to make the executive strong and effective in the government systems implemented in Turkey is explained. Secondly, a legal and technical evaluation has been made by using qualitative research method for Turkey, which is in the process of making a civil and democratic constitution on the subject by examining the debates on the government system in Turkey and looking from a different perspective. Statements were made about the changes in government systems in Turkey, the main reasons for the changes, and the government systems formed as a result of the changes. In this context; Even if it is short, it has been tried to explain the basic distinctions of the government systems, the determinations on the changes made in the government systems due to the tendency to strengthen the executive in Turkey.
