The reaction of stoichiometric amounts of triphenyllead chloride, diphenylphosphine and triethylamine in benzene results in the formation of triphenyllead-diphenylphosphine besides triethylammonium chloride in very good yields. Thermally, the first leadorganic phosphorus compound is considerably less stable than corresponding Sn, Ge and Si- compounds.
