Abstract

The fine and hyperfine structures of the paramagnetic resonance spectrum of the trigonal Cr3+ centers in the chromium-doped Pb5Ge3O11 samples after annealing at low oxygen pressure have been studied. The localization of chromium ions in the lead germanate crystal lattice, as well as the results of studying the effect of such doping on the susceptibility of crystals to the second harmonic are discussed.
