Abstract
We have developed the hardware and software for a simple, inexpensive control system that executes one general-purpose interface bus (GPIB) command each time a digital logic trigger is received. The system permits accurate and reproducible timing of complicated GPIB sequences, independent of the microprocessor of the computer controlling the experiment.
