Abstract

GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) is the international instrument interface standard. From the perspective of programmable instrument implementing GPIB communication, the paper describes the mode of NAT9914 implementing GPIB communication in details. America National Instrument Company is the leader of GPIB technique. The paper uses GPIB communication card and communication software NI488.2 of NI Corporation to verify the designed GPIB communication interface. In the program, GPIB communication interface is applied to the communication of programmable power supply of computer. The paper makes systematic introduction on standard command for programmable instrument and applies SCPI to control program-controlled power supply.
