Abstract

The development of electric machines necessitates the development solutions with efficiency. One possible solution is airgap-less devices. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop materials with favorable magnetic and tribological applications. The following work presents the production method and performance examination of tribological polymer magnetic composites. Samples were subjected to microscopic examination to determine the morphology of the composite. Tribological and magnetic properties were measured to determine the filler effect on the basic material parameters. Electrical parameters were also examined to determine possible electromagnetic losses in the material. The greatest increase in magnetic permeability was observed for the iron magnetic filler. The greatest improvement in tribological properties was observed for the graphite tribological filler.
