Abstract
A special method of electric charge measurements on single polystyrene in a fluidized bed was used. The method consisted in an analysis of the trajectory of particles ejected from the bed into a homogenous electric field by means of a local pneumatic impulse. The fluidized bed was either made a pure polytyrene particles or modified by humid air or by the addition of fines (aluminium powder or sodium chloride). Some explanation of the obtained results has been offered.
