Abstract

Objective: This study is to describe status of the experience of inpatients at National hospital of odonto - stomatology hospital in 2023 and to analyze some related factors. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 256 inpatients, using the CAHPS questionnaire. Study time period was from 11/2022 to 5/2023 at National hospital of odonto - stomatology hospital. Results: The percentage of patients with a overall positive experience was 91,4%. In the aspects of hospital experience, the percentage of patients with a positive experience on Communication with doctors was highest (92,6%). Aspect having lowest positive experience rate of inpatients is “treatment in hospital” with only 65,4%. Since then, the research offered a variety of ways to enhance hospital quality in general and patient experience in particular, such as: Enhance training for medical staff in order to increase professional qualifications and communication, form professional supervision teams, and improve communication and behavior of health workers, sanitation employees, and security guards.
