Abstract

Abstract The Crimea is noted for the great diversity of its soil and climatic conditions, which create a range of different environments suitable for the development of viticulture and oenology. The viticultural regions of the peninsula differ both in their area of grape cultivation and also in the influence of abiotic factors on the size and quality of yields. About 60% of the grape cultivation is located in the south of the Crimea. The South Coast produces unique dessert wines, such as White Muscat of the Red Stone and Rose Muscat, as well as other types of high‐quality wine.
