Abstract

Background and Aims: Cardiovascular risk assessment has become the cornerstone of cardiovascular prevention. Reducing the impact of health risk factors could prevent at least 80% of cardiovascular disease (CVD) events. This study aimed to estimate trends and differences in CVD risk factor prevalence among 50-55 years-old men and women who participated in the Lithuanian High Cardiovascular Risk (LitHiR) primary prevention program between 2009 and 2016.
