Abstract

Generating energy from biogas offers agriculture an opportunity to participate in new value-added chains through providing raw materials and investments. However, the excellent framework of the EEG (Renewable Energy Sources Act) does not necessarily guarantee economic success. Decisive for economic success is a clearly defined concept for the facility, adapted to local conditions. Therefore, it is important to select suitable technology with high annual utilization possible.
