Abstract
The article discusses the importance of Crew Coordination Training in the Brazilian Air Force, aiming to minimize accidents caused by human error. Through the development of human potential and the promotion of teamwork, the training seeks to overcome the limitations of traditional training, which often fails to consider personal interactions and group dynamics. NASA's research, cited in the document, indicates that most aviation accidents are related to decision-making and interpersonal communication rather than just technical piloting skills. The proposed training includes methods such as communication exercises, mission analysis, and the use of video for self-assessment, allowing crew members to identify and correct performance flaws. The implementation of this training is seen as a vital tool for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of aerial operations.
