Abstract
Aim: Maximal dose of potent statins is recommended at first consultation in adult FH patients. Despite of this, a substantial proportion of FH patients are either undertreated or even not treated. The aim of this study was to evaluate treatment of FH patients, proportion of FH patients reaching LDL targets and reasons for not reaching LDL targets in 8 lipid clinics in Slovakia dealing with FH patients.
