Abstract
We report the first case of 43-year-old female patient with recalcitrant pemphigoid vegetans succefully treated with combination of the selective Janus kinase 1 inhibitor (JAK1i) abrocitinib and oral corticosteroids. After abrocitinib therapy at a dose of 100mg/day, the itching relieved significantly within 24 hours. Three months later BPDAI decreased to 9, both the anti-BP230 and anti-BP180 antibody levels also decreased. Then the dose of prednisone tapered to 20mg daily and abrocitinib discontinued without a relapse in the following up.
