Abstract
A class of nonlocal delay differential equation with nonmonotone nonlinearity that arises from population dynamics is considered. The existence of travelling waves is established by constructing two auxiliary monotone dynamical systems combined with a global coupling condition. Our results require neither the compactness nor the reflection invariance of the solution semiflow.
