Abstract

The aim of this article consists in presenting some matters based on our research experience, most of which has been developed in the Programa de Antropologia y Educacion de la Facultad de Filosofia y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires.By rescuing some of our reflections, we want to promote the discussion about the theoretical-methodological possibilities and difficulties that appear when doing educational ethnography in the current conditions and contexts. In this sense, moving away from some characteristics that the ethnography had in its origins, we attempt to use the ethnographic approach or anthropological approach that recovers the subjective dimension of the investigator starting from the reflection about our own assumptions, about the theoretical categories with which we interpret the reality in a spiraled and dialectic process between the field, the theory and the interpretation.
