Abstract
The transport of radioactive material is performed in Italy only by licensed carriers. The carriers are obliged, by national regulations, to send to the competent authority (ANPA) all the shipment data. This paper aims to illustrate the efforts made to establish a database and to manage, in a useful way, the data of the shipments of radioactive material.
