Abstract

Transport properties in the ceramic specimen of La 0.7Sr 0.3FeO 3 (LSF) with orthorhombic structure have been investigated. The electrical resistivity displayed thermally activated temperature dependence above 250 K with an activation energy of 0.302 eV. The temperature dependence of thermoelectric power and DC resistivity suggests that the charge carrier responsible for conduction is strongly localized. The experimental results have been interpreted in terms of a hopping process involving small polaron.
