Abstract

Background Literature reports a wide consensus for the Magerl’s Classification of Spine fractures as a valid tool for their management. Nevertheless, especially in the thoracolumbar junction, some spine fracture patterns could be of difficult classification or incomplete interpretation, leading to a their under-treatment and an inevitable retaking care of the patient. Fortunately, the continuous development of the surgery instruments, gives the surgeon the weapons to cope with these situations.
