Abstract
It is numerically shown that an eigensolution to dispersion-managed solitons can exist despite the presence of third-order dispersion. In an optimised dispersion-managed link, 3 ps pulses close to the eigensolution are transmitted over a distance of 80 km under the strong influence of third-order dispersion.
