Abstract
SUMMARY. — Medieval Latin versions of Euclid's Elements reflect a concern with didacticism, logic issues, and philosophical concerns. Marginalia in the manuscrits of these versions similarly emphasize these three characteristics of the medieval Euclid. Overall, both versions and marginalia presented a Euclid that was most fitting to the student in the faculty of arts at medieval universities.
