Abstract

AbstractThe dielectric function for the optical conversion of excitons into excitonic molecules is derived, using Boltzmann distributions for both the systems. In a second step calculations of the optical constants as well as the corresponding transmission and reflectivity spectra are presented. Appart from some other characteristic features, a region of strong reflection occurs at high exciton densities.
