Abstract

In this paper, a method is presented for the determination of the transient temperature and thermal stresses in a thin finite rectangular plate subjected to the distinct thermal boundary conditions of the third kind at the four edges and allowing the variation of heat-transfer coefficients on the upper and lower surfaces of the plate.
