This editorial explores how AI reshapes the library landscape, ushering in a new generation of efficiency, accessibility, and innovation. The AI’s most notable contribution to libraries is the automation of routine tasks, cataloguing and organising; librarians can now rely on AI algorithms to streamline. It saves librarians valuable time engaging in intellectually stimulating activities and ensures a more accurate and organised library system. AI-driven systems can efficiently analyse vast amounts of data, leading to improved search functionalities and more seamless information retrieval for library patrons. Moreover, AI is instrumental in the personalisation of library services.
