Abstract
The article explores transformational-modernization development of the food industry complex of the country and its regions. The current state of the investment-innovative activities within this complex through the dynamics of the last few years' period has been determined, with elaboration of quantitative characteristics; modernizational advance of the food industry's operation has been analyzed within the system of areal coordinates; insightful analysis of the modernizational processes within the complex has been performed; and specific features of its components have been identified and explained with detection of the key priorities and prospects. The transformational-modernization paradigm of the food industry complex development has been formulated with substantiation of principles and methods of its construction, determining of its preconditions and factors of formation. Its attributes and basic provisions have been outlined along with prospective directions and efficiency parameters of its implementation.
