Abstract

Occupational safety training is part of the system of preventive measures aimed at reducing the dynamics of occupational injuries and occupational diseases in the country and is currently one of the most relevant and massively discussed areas of the professional community in the field of occupational safety and health, as well as employers. The authors of the paper analyze the quality of training and identify related socio-economic problems in this area. The paper presents the author's vision of the algorithm of occupational safety training, which has universal and additional components, as well as formulates the results and competencies formed by the results of training. The authors summarize and analyze the requirements that are imposed on employees who provide training in the field of occupational safety and health, formulate conclusions about the transformation of the training process in connection with the development of a new professional standard «Specialist in training in the field of occupational safety and health» and the Rules of training.
