Abstract
Subject. This article analyzes the processes of digital transformation and the risks and opportunities associated with them. Objectives. The article aims to investigate the problems of social and labor relations and determine the list of subject areas for the formation of general professional competencies of employees. Methods. For the study, we used a logical analysis. Results. The article finds that the transformation of social and labor relations in the context of digitalization is significantly manifested in a change in the forms of employment. Conclusions. The transition to short-term employment contracts, the spread of irregular and unstable employment entails a reduction in social guarantees. In the context of the widespread use of digital technologies, a modern employee should master a certain set of general professional competencies in many areas.
